The past couple of nights have ended with pills. Two sudafed, two aspirin, a multivitamin and a 500mg vitamin c tablet. I'm hoping that after resting up this weekend, in conjunction with the medication, that I'll be in the pink by Monday. I've been through the fucking wringer at work, grinding away at applications and doing my best to ignore the rest of the world and the day's events back in my bunker.

Friday night was a complete waste. A hurricane fundraiser pre-empted most of Smackdown! which meant I missed Mr. Ken Kennedy (kennedy)'s match against Paul London. An uninteresting squash match but it features Ken Kennedy (kennedy).
Mr replacement u-lock arrived before 6 p.m. on Friday. Kuresu the Hapless Samurai died an ignoble death due to his player's greed. The bright idea of luring a leocrotta to an altar for sacrifice led to his death. Leocrottas are quite fast and deadly. The cycle of rebirth will draw Kuresu's soul from the afterlife and once again the quest for the Amulet of Yendor can begin in earnest.
