Is there a reason why Dave Sim is considered batshit insane but Ursula K LeGuin is not considered the least bit controversial or offensive? I find them to be equals in respect to their beliefs but Sim is the better author when he's not expounding upon his half-baked synthesized religion.

I bought Shadow of the Colossus today.

In Yer Dreams
Not really a dream, just a rumination upon dreams. The past couple of nights have taken place in the Rainy Mountain Town. This has been a recurring motif, a familiar setting that takes place somewhere in the foothills of a mountain range, the sky is always gray and overcast with the precipitation becoming progressively more intense with the advent of night. It's evocative of the game Ico. The folks are friendly and I seem to be becoming a regular in this setting.
The disturbing aspect of these dreams, which are merely extensions of my life while unconscious, is that I always awaken with the demon of obsession. At no time has the dream done anything to enflame any desires or vendettas but minutes after awakening I'll be single-minded like an ant until I can think myself down from that toxic thought process.
Now understand this is a pleasant enough place and I really wouldn't mind living there. Maybe someday or after I'm dead.
