Thank god it isn't Friday!

Only thing on the schedule is hooky, King Chef and hopefully going ahead with the next item.

Now it's time to practice my acting skills for calling in sick. Six a.m. is such an ugly time to greet the new day.

kuresu
Kuresu the Samurai is on his millionth incarnation. Everything he sees is a reflection of his former life. Cockatrice nests have multiple statues of samurai who have gone before him. The Valley of the Dead is home to several of his ghosts and a few fallen corpses. Tension was at its highest when battling Ashikaga Takauji who was wielding the Tsurugi of Muramasa. For those of you playing along at home, the Tsurugi of Muramasa does double damage and has a small chance of cleaving its victim in half i.e. instakill. Currently I'm playing with the delightful enhanced artifacts patch which implements the equally exciting Heck^2 patch.

Kuresu has entered Gehennom. Currently he's hunting Asmodeus and he wasted his final wish on a humble ring of fire resistance. Countless levels, countless fallen black puddings, gelatinous cubes and other squishy dungeon denizens and he never acquired intrinsic fire resistance.

Here's hoping that he doesn't suffer yet another stupid death and actually ascends with the fabled Amulet of Yendor. Only then can he truly rest after years of conflict.

raddidge is adamant that I am a cheater because I have used numerous wishes and have genocided many innocent monsters. Right now mind flayers, master mind flayers, all of L (liches), disenchanters, rust monsters and all of ; (sea creatures) no longer exist thanks to wishes for blessed scrolls of genocide.
