Lately the news has been full of disasters from the far reaches of Pakistan to New Jersey to everywhere above the poverty line outside of Louisiana. The portrayal of these disasters is presented as masturbation material for hardcore eschatologists. Part of me wonders if various media outlets are upset they've been ignored due to the disasters around the gulf and decide that any natural event that kills even one person is grist for the press.
Heck, California is trying to get in on the act by shouting out "We're next! Earthquakes long overdue!"
Colorado, if you believe the news, has been in the iron grip of a pre-season blizzard. Folks, there isn't a flake of snow on the ground and the skies are slowly clearing after the sleet from Sunday.
Well, I've been having the strangest feeling of deja vu. Upon my return from Sopranos night with the Birds, I seemed to notice things that may have happened before along with echoes.
Someone once said that living without hallucinations is like breathing with only one nostril. I like the bits of chaos that it raises in my life especially when I feel like I have too much control. Nowadays I feel like I can easily take control when I feel like it. Right now, I want something strange.
If only this didn't have such a dark portent around it. Christ, that sounds so goth and LiveJournal. Reckon I'll go cut raddidge's name on my chest while listening to Linkin Park then quoting dipshit songs.
