Dragon Warrior Quest VIII is out and in my possession. Jaybird received his copy on Wednesday afternoon.

My evening was divided between eating, riding my bike, reading various summaries of Cerebus the Aardvark and playing DQ8. Eating is just making me fatter and I wouldn't be surprised if I was getting grossly obese. Cycling started a coughing fit that lasted for a few hours much to my own dismay. A cursory search on Google for "pesistent cough" only told me "see a doctor". Reading about Cerebus was part of my personal and heretofore unmentioned therapy to overcome obsession. Ends up that I died when I had my first boss battle of the game. So I killed the power, shut off the TV and I'll start all over from the last save point.

Brian is officially engaged to his girlfriend of nearly ten years.
