Work has me annoyed because the slow people are being pushed to do more work and I'm getting the same memos so management can come across as appearing fair. Should I happen to get a raise, I hope it will be substantial like last year's raise. Otherwise I'm going to start idly looking for another job.
I go to work, I don't bother anyone else and I expect the same in kind from everyone.
That's one of the reasons why I don't answer the telephone. Heaven forbid anyone from work calls me because they want me to come in on an unscheduled Saturday or decide to change my work schedule to 6-3 for some unexplainable reason.
Fuck you and the rest of the world, my time is my own time. Right now I'm considering Colorado to be many years of my own time with minimal human interaction. I know they have my home telephone number because one of their lackeys went around the office collecting everyone's IRL information despite the fact that I provided this when I originally applied and nothing has changed in regards to my home number or address.
A memo from Tuesday stated everyone is required to work a full Saturday once a month. It's overtime but there's something going on which sounds really insidious. Everyone, except managers, is required to process X amount of applications. If that personal goal is not met, the processor has to stay overtime until that goal is met. Why pay someone six hours of overtime when they're considered slow and have to make up the work on the weekends?
Weekends are the hardest since verifying employment is tough and nearly everything is closed.
