After yet another rushed Monday, I'm not feeling too shabby. Late Monday morning I had my first real, solid bowel movement for the first time in a week. Earlier last week I had a bout of food poisoning. There aren't many maladies that involve horrible diarrhea and fevers so it has to be food poisoning.
Sunday night raddidge and I went to the Chinese buffet over on Academy for dinner. Afterwards, we came home and went straight to bed because I am fat and old and she was getting sleepy from all the food. Plus I didn't pick on raddidge for getting the baby octopus or squid that she likes at that restaurant.
Only one thing is bothering me and that's the location of a ten dollar bill. I know I kept pushing the money on raddidge to help with gas but she declined it after a particularly spicy remark. I sincerely hope she ended up pocketing it so I can rest in peace rather than wonder why I'm short ten bucks.
In Yer Dreams
Lately I haven't been using the exclamation point in the header for this section. The dreams haven't been that good requiring the use of that exciting punctuation.

I was inside a well-lit trailer home. The back of the home was the master bedroom and that's where I found a scrawny, naked old man laying dead on the bed. He was bald and still pink but decidedly deceased in body. The body was face down on the bed when raddidge called me into the other room. My father called me and I took the phone back with me to the bedroom where I found the old man on his back, left leg crossed over his straightened right leg. I couldn't find raddidge's feline companion Wumpus anywhere and I remembered earlier seeing her nosing around the side of the bed.
My father was talking to me but I couldn't listen. The corpse had moved, there shouldn't be a corpse back here, "What the hell is going on?" When I turned to face away from the scene, I saw the corpse lick his chops with a low, soulful moan coming from the stomach. Now I was frightened.

All of my attention focused on my father and his conversation. Rocco, the white cat back in New Jersey, ran away from home to find Ben. Dad was all shaken up and crying but there wasn't a thing I could do because I had someone's undead grandfather in the bedroom.

When I awoke, I rolled over and hugged raddidge as tightly as possible because I was disturbed by the dream.
